How to Advertise to Our Target Market
The new vendor program has three level of participation. The benefits of each level are listed in the vendor application. If you have a real estate related business, you do realize you hit the mother lode, don't you? N.O.R.E.I.A. is the target market you have been looking for! We have over one thousand names on our mailing list, and all those people have an interest in real estate. We have hundreds of very active investors who come to our General Membership Meetings each month. These members are always looking for good Vendors to do business with. If you offer a quality product or service at a good price, you should seriously consider advertising with us. Why?
First, you will increase your profit and sales. Our people are always looking for good clients to do business with. And all our people are very interested in real estate. Advertising with us isn't like advertising in the newspaper. There, one in ten people may be interested in what you have to offer. Here, every reader is interested in real estate related products and services. N.O.R.E.I.A. is your captive, target market, all under one roof! They eagerly await what you have to offer them. Why wait and hold back your sales?
Second, advertising with us is dirt-cheap. You can become a Vendor member starting at $250 a year. Let's take a look at what you get for that $250. First, it entitles you to membership in our Association. You get free admission to our monthly General Membership Meetings, access to our online resources available only to members, and the ability to buy other Vendor's products at a discount (in addition to all the other member privileges and benefits). Second, you get a business card size ad in our newsletter, which will stay in cyberspace for years.
You do realize that, don't you? That because we keep our past newsletters in an accessible, cyber archive, your business will be promoted for years to come, even if you stop advertising with us some day. Thus, by advertising with us for even just one year, you get years of exposure for your product or service.
Third, the Silver And Gold levels buys you a one-page Vendor promotion on our website. This promotion will stay active on our website for as long as you remain a Vendor member. Your one page ad will also be seen by anyone who visits our site; one does not need a password to access the Vendor section. Because of our intense marketing promotion of our website and the size of our member list, we can generate more hits to our website (and more exposure to you) than you can generate to your individual business website, if you even have one. And you get all this website exposure without having to pay or to worry about webhosting fees, marketing fees, personnel support, etc. You just get the benefit, with very little cost.
Fourth, as a Vendor member, you will have the right to display information related to your business on our Vendor marketing table in the rear of the General Membership meeting. This is not available to guests or regular members. Fifth, you will have the opportunity to create and distribute a one-page handout about your business for inclusion in our Membership Manual. Finally, you will be given a five-minute time slot to speak once a year before the General Membership Meeting to promote your product or service.
Now, let's compare what bang you get for spending the same investment on other marketing approaches. Do you hit the same concentrated target market advertising in the newspaper, radio, or TV? No. Does it cost the same? Hardly; it's far more expensive. Does your marketing remain in front of your target market for the same amount of time? Don't you wish it did? Do you get a diversity of benefits for the same bucks spent? Never. Becoming a N.O.R.E.I.A. Vendor member is dirt cheap and highly effective. This is a great deal, and you should take advantage of it before your competitors do.
Here are some suggestions for increasing your sales and profits. First, give N.O.R.E.I.A. members special deals and discounts; this will encourage use of your product or service over your competitors. Second, come regularly to the General Membership meetings and promote your business before the meeting, after the meeting, and during the breaks (never in the meeting room during the meeting; that can get too loud and can distract the keynote speaker). Third, provide handouts and offer seasonal specials. Fourth, offer quality products and service. N.O.R.E.I.A. members talk. Word of mouth advertising for our Vendors spreads quickly in our Association. Create positive experiences for our members and it will dramatically increase your future sales.
